Dr Anne Waage, MD PhD Consultant HPB surgeon at Oslo University Hospital, Norway, mainly focusing on pancreatic surgery. She performed Research fellowship at Mt Sinai Hospital, Minimal Invasive Centre, New York and PhD from Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.

Has special interests in the complexity and surgical aspects of the pancreatitis patient, both chronic pancreatitis and severe acute pancreatitis. In 2016 she established a structural multidisciplinary evaluation in Chronic Pancreatitis and has since then been responsible for developing the institutional surgical program in Chronic Pancreatitis, including TP-IAT.
