Giammauro Berardi, MD, PhD, is a hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgeon at San Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome, Italy. He trained internationally in advanced HPB surgery at Ageo Central General Hospital in Japan and in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His clinical and research interests include liver transplantation, hepatocellular carcinoma, transplant oncology, and minimally invasive liver surgery. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications and is actively involved in international collaborative research and scientific societies in HPB and transplant surgery.
